The decoration is really the first thing that comes to our eyes when we enter. Wooden tables, chairs (each one from its father and mother) to take home, old radios, hydraulic tile on the floor… a combination of decorative elements that make it a place that, from the first impression, makes you fall in love. Although it has only been open for a couple of weeks, on a Monday night it already looked great, like a trendy place that has been triumphing from the very first moment. And there are reasons for this. Let’s take a look.
The first thing that catches the eye is that the menu, almost recently inaugurated, has already undergone some variation. And that is appreciated. Because something that happens in El Perro y La Galleta (and that is noticeable), is that the objective is to improve, to polish details, to change things that do not work one hundred percent. The vocation of the service, including Carlos himself, is to make sure that everything goes smoothly. This is noticeable when you order a rosé from the menu and they lead you to a red wine, to a more appropriate option. These are details that are appreciated.

During my visit I asked the waiter to recommend me the best of the menu and he suggested me some eggplants battered in cookie (9.5€), -I thought they were very weak-, some croquettes (9€), -quite plain- and some battered cod tacos (14.5€) that are far from what you can have at Cascabel.
If you are daring and order wine, -and I am not talking about a bottle for 6 people but one for 2/3-, with a starter to share and a main course, you will pay around 35€, if you share absolutely everything and do not drink wine you will never pay more than 30€.
